Repeat x2
Well, after a Thanksgiving full of vomit, we've done it again x2! Neil returned home Saturday from work sick! He puked before he left work and had to drive home with his open lunchbox on his lap in case he got sick in the car! So, Jaxson and I took care of him all day and he called in for work. Saturday night, this momma couldn't sleep, I was so nauseous! Then around 7:30 I started throwing up too! Today my ribs are still sore and my lungs hurt. This 48 hour bug thing is like the flu mixed with food poisoning. It sux, that's for sure! Anyways, I promise to have something good soon! Hope everone is having a Happy Monday!

The best eating day of the year was not so filling...
So, our Thanksgiving post is picture-less and I will tell you why. We started our day at 12:30 am. Jaxson woke up in his cry screaming, so I went in, picked him up, and put him in our bed to sleep with us. He kept whining, so I woke Neil and made him hold Jax so I could make him a bottle. We had ran out of milk earlier and put his last 5 ounces in the fridge, but Jax normally has about 10 ounces at a time. So when the bottle ran out, he was MAD! He kicked us in the head, scratched us, slapped us, and would not go to sleep! At around 3:30, after Neil had gotten up and tried to sleep on the couch but was unsucessful so came back to bed, Jaxson finally fell back asleep. THANK THE LORD! I was finally able to rest after a tireing day before Thanksgiving. Around 5:30 I woke up because I thaught Jaxson was choking but he was asleep and I was confused. "Maybe I dreamed it"?? Nope! At 7:00 I heard it again and this time my poor baby was making a funny little noise with the chocking sound so I picked him up and starting hitting him on the back and he stopped. Neil says "I think he puked" and there were 3 yellow, wet stains on our 1000 thread count white sheets! ugggg! So we get up, strip the bed, pre-treat our stains (which were also soaked into our down pillow topper) and put the babe in the bath tub. He seemed fine after that and played around the house until we left for grandma's house.
9:30 am, After our 1 hour drive from Indianapolis to Nashville we get out of our car and realize jaxson has thrown up again. This time it was the same yellow bile-ish stuff but it was all over his sweater (which is hand wash only AHHHH). We go in, Jax plays hard, eats all kinds of random foods, and has about 20 ounces of milk. 11:30- I get finished helping with the preparation of our wonderful dinner and decide it's time for me to shower and get ready. I am enjoying my silence when I hear a knock at the door....it was mamaw Sally saying "your baby puked" and then opening the shower curtain and putting him in with me! lol My poor babe was covered in what looked like huge cottage cheese chunks and had a look on his face of pure confusion. I bathed him off for the second time in one day while Neil called the doctor.
We were informed that a stomach bug had been going around and we were instructed to not let him eat or drink for 2 hours, and after that only Pedialite and water! AHH so no delicious Thanksgiving meal for little jaxson boy...it was so sad. He sat at the table with us and drank watered-down Gatorade. Bless his little heart, I felt so bad for him. This is why there are no pictures of Jaxson's 2nd Thanksgiving, and why I spent my day in-between throw-ups and eating, doing laundry!
I hope everyone else had a great Thanksgiving and maybe we'll get a good post in a couple of days! lol!

It's begining to look alot like Christmas!
Our first tree at our own house! Yay! My mom and I went shopping today for ornaments and I had entended to put up the tree after Thanksgiving. That didn't happen, I couldn't wait! So, I had taken all the tags off the new ornaments and gottten everything out of the boxes and I asked Neil to go out on the balcony and get the tree. The tree was my mom's that she had gotten last year that I traded with her b/c my cats destoyed mine in years previous. The first thing Neil says as soon as he opens the box, "Where's the stand?" Then I notice it isn't my mom's new tree but in fact my old tree that no longer had a stand and all of the bottom branches duck taped on! lol Anyway, I was upset so Jax and I ran out to Wally and got a new one. I love putting up the Christmas tree usually but not tonight :( But it's done for now, or until Jaxson tears it down in the morning. My decorating has only just begun though, I still need new stockings to match the tree, a tree skirt, a tree topper, and I want some garland to put on my mantle, then I'm done for real! I had to take photos of my cute ornaments closer up, I think they are just too cute!
I have decided that there are alot of things that I have not gotten to share with alot of people in the recent past, so here is a preview of things to come in the near future.
- New Apartment pics
- Jaxson's 1st Birthday Post and Pics
- Pumpkin patch and Halloween pics
- Our new Car! Post and pics
That's all I've got for tonight, my angel has fallen asleep on his daddy while watching him play his life-sucking video games! And if I don't get Neil to stop playing soon then there might be a post about breaking and burning x-box 360's! I leave you with some pictures of the cutest boy in the world!

Maybe Later...
I had planned on doing a good post today but I'm thinking maybe later...I seem to have woken up to not just a runny nose like I had yesterday, but to what feels like the beginning of the flu! I feel horrible! I just called my momma to come help me with Jax so that I can rest and hopefully be better by the morning, keep your fingers crossed! I promise as soon as I am well enough to get up off the couch and locate my camera I will do a good post w/pictures. For now I'm just gonna watch tv and try not to breathe on Jax so he doesn't catch this bug! Have a great day everyone!

Here we go!
Okay, so I have been putting off doing this for a while now and the time has come to start this blog. I wanted to do this to chronicle the life and times of our crazy family as we go through the struggles of raising our son, post-pregnacy weight loss, marriage, and deployment.
My dear hubby decided to re-enlist for another year, which in turn means another tour in Iraq. I will not be able to share much about his location or mission but I will be alone while he is on the other side of the world and am sure will need advice and help from friends and fellow bloggers.
The next couple of years will be very difficult for me and my apple jax, so I'm extending an invitation to you all to look into our life and maybe offer some help and advice as we go through this trying time. I hope you enjoy my blog and I don't bore you too much! ;)
